WELCOME

This blog was created to act as a record of the cards and other projects that I have made. It is for both my own reference and to help inspire anyone who wants to take a look.

I'd love it if you'd leave me a comment so that I know what you think of my projects and that you've been to visit!

Anyone can comment, even those who don't have a blog. (Just look for the word 'Comments' under the three little pictures at the end of each post). Readers without a blog can add an anonymous comment, but please leave your name (and docrafts username if applicable) so I know who you are!

Slideshows of all the cards I've uploaded to my blog can be found at the bottom of the page.

Salmon Pink Tiny Baby Little Cotton Rabbit

This is the card I made for my Australian friend's little girl.

The Sugar Nellie Little Cotton Rabbit image was very kindly donated by Sandra F (Annette) in a die-cut/image swap.

The rabbit image was watercoloured using Whispers Brushstroke markers. This was cut into an oval and matted onto a scalloped oval mat cut out by hand. Doodling was added to the edge of the scalloped ovals as were pricked holes.

The right hand edge of the card blank was cut away. Papers from the DCWV Nana's Nursery Baby Girl paper stack were adhered to the card front and the image attached over the top. A matching paper from the stack was attached to the inside of the card so that it shows from the front.

Prima flowers were coloured using Whispers Brushstroke markers, and highlighted with Craft Planet Irridescent Sparkle glitter glue. A green button was attached to the centre of the large flower using embroidery thread, and pink faux gems were attached to the centres of the smaller flowers.

The '1' was created using a foam stamp from the Papermania Large Numbers set. This was then cut out and highlighted with Craft Planet Irridescent glitter glue.
