This blog was created to act as a record of the cards and other projects that I have made. It is for both my own reference and to help inspire anyone who wants to take a look.

I'd love it if you'd leave me a comment so that I know what you think of my projects and that you've been to visit!

Anyone can comment, even those who don't have a blog. (Just look for the word 'Comments' under the three little pictures at the end of each post). Readers without a blog can add an anonymous comment, but please leave your name (and docrafts username if applicable) so I know who you are!

Slideshows of all the cards I've uploaded to my blog can be found at the bottom of the page.

Sugar Nellie Knight Card For Hubby

Here is the card I made for my lovely hubby's birthday.

It is also my entry for this week's Truly Scrumptious blog challenge, which consists of a sketch and the added challenge of 'Flower Power'. I used a little artistic licence and used Fleur de Lys for my flowers as it's a masculine-themed card.

I decided to use the Sugar Nellie Knight Luca stamp for this card. I stamped it out twice onto Craft Planet Silver Satin card using Jet Black Staz-On ink and cut the images out. The feather and shield quadrants were stamped onto patterned papers from the HOTP Classic Cardmakers Creative pack and attached to the shield image.

The image was matted onto ovals of white card and silver satin card embossed with the Cuttlebug Diamond in the Rough folder.

Two shields were cut out and decorated with papers from the Classic Creative pack, along with a matching panel.

The Fleur de Lys were stamped using morsel stamps from the See D's Vintage Collection stamp set in the corners of the white panel and on the shields. The sentiment was computer-generated.
