WELCOME

This blog was created to act as a record of the cards and other projects that I have made. It is for both my own reference and to help inspire anyone who wants to take a look.

I'd love it if you'd leave me a comment so that I know what you think of my projects and that you've been to visit!

Anyone can comment, even those who don't have a blog. (Just look for the word 'Comments' under the three little pictures at the end of each post). Readers without a blog can add an anonymous comment, but please leave your name (and docrafts username if applicable) so I know who you are!

Slideshows of all the cards I've uploaded to my blog can be found at the bottom of the page.

Hot Pink and Sage Green Asterisk Christmas Tree

Here is a variation on the lime and pink Christmas tree card that I uploaded the other day, this one using a more muted green tone.

The Asterisk Christmas Tree image, from the Papermania Honey and Hugs Festive Frolics stamp set, was stamped using Ink It Up! Bright green pigment ink and embossed using Heat It Up! Moss Embossing powder, as were the edges of the image panel. This was matted onto bright pink handmade paper and then a sage green panel die cut using a Labels 8 Nestabilities die.

A strip of green snowflake paper, from the Papermania Traditional Christmas Colossal paper pack, was embossed with clear pigment ink and holographic powder. This was matted onto a strip of the sage green card punched using the Martha Stewart Scallop Dot border punch.

The sentiment was stamped at the bottom of the card using Brilliance Pearlescent Orchid pigment ink. Circles were punched using the border punch from the handmade paper and adhered onto the Christmas tree image.
